Methodology

I integrate psychology, coaching, and leadership
to facilitate real and lasting change processes.

  • Schema Therapy is an evidence-based therapy that has proven effective in treating chronic and complex psychological disorders, such as personality disorders, anxiety, and depression.
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps process traumatic memories and other difficult experiences, using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, touch, or hearing) to reduce the emotional distress associated with these events. It is effective for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other conditions resulting from traumatic experiences, such as anxiety, phobias, and depression.
  • Transpersonal Therapy is a psychological movement that, from a holistic perspective, integrates spiritual and personal development with mental health, aiming to help individuals transcend the limits of the ego to connect with more profound wisdom and essence.

What my clients say

"Dear Sebastián,
You previously helped my brother through a tough time in his life. Thank you for everything you did for him. I know the impact of his sessions with you and the lessons he learned from schema therapy were lasting.”

40-year-old woman

“I’ve been seeing Sebastián for a while now. He’s very competent and made me feel safe in an uncomfortable trauma environment. Although I still have a long way to go, he’s helped me improve a lot."

33-year-old woman who suffered complex trauma

"Dear Sebastian,
I am pleased to say that I trust the skills I have learned from you. They have left me in a solid position, and I no longer feel I need psychological support currently. I am very grateful for everything you have done to help me."

32-year-old man who suffered from depression

“Dear Sebastian,
Thank you for all your wise advice and strategies during our sessions. You’ve helped me so much, and I’m so grateful. I wish you all the best.”

61-year-old man suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

“Hi Sebastian,
I wanted to thank you for all your support and wisdom over the past year. I’ve learned a lot and feel like things are going in the right direction. I’ve done well in my conservation course and am in good health; looking back, it’s been a positive year overall. I’ll continue to review the material you’ve given me. I wish you the best of luck in your future projects and for the holidays.”

47-year-old man suffering from bipolar disorder

“Dear Sebastian,
Thank you for your guidance, help, support, and understanding. It’s been a journey, sometimes with ups and downs, with many doubts about my destiny and my future. You helped me discover who I was meant to be. The journey isn’t over, and I still have a long way to go.
I wish you the best.”

65-year-old woman suffering from deep depression

“Hi Sebastián,
You’ve been light-years ahead of what I’ve learned in previous psychotherapy sessions, and I believe your wisdom could be what helps me move forward. I’d love it if you could send me some of your work sometime soon, as I have a deep respect for intelligence in psychology.
Best regards.”

29-year-old woman suffering from anxiety

“Hi Sebastian,
I have no words to describe the enormous positive impact you’ve had on my life. I am so grateful for how you’ve helped me reflect on my life and contextualize situations so I can handle things as best as possible. Even today, I was thinking about some of my reactions in the context of frameworks to determine if I should do something for others. This made the day go much better. There were some days when I left our talks with a great sense of euphoria and self-confidence. These feelings were a beautiful intrinsic gift that few have the power to give. With my sincere thanks.”

34-year-old man suffering from depression and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

“Hi Sebastian,
I hope you’re well. I’ve been reflecting on the past year and feel like I’ve made a lot of progress, largely thanks to you. It’s been over 10 months since my last appointment with you. Since then, I’ve begun a new phase in my life. My business is doing very well, my relationship with my family is the best it’s been in years, I’m less stressed, and I feel happy with myself. I still live with chronic pain, but I feel like I’m managing it well. Given my experience, I want to help others and am pleased to have been recently elected to the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization that educates about mental health. I hope that in this position I can help make a difference. Thank you for your help and guidance. I wish you happy holidays. Best regards,”
